Here’s a couple of shots — actually the same shot— couldn’t decide between color and b&w… taken at a maternity photoshoot hosted at our studio. I’m loving the simplicity here, both fabric and the color, and the pose itself…. tippy-toes always works wonders sans heels.

To the age old question, at least with maternity photography: when is the best time to schedule your shoot? We’ve had a few clients wanting to shoot in their final week — which does make for a big bump! But the general consensus is between 26 and 34 weeks to be safe, a month before your due date is considered perfect. That way you’ll be nicely rotund, with no undue stress about delivery, and will still be comfortable posing and manhandled, albeit gently!
